We have some good news! The awarded contract to Connolly, to provide Region 5 RAC services for home health has been put on hold. The Government Accountability Office (GOA) received a protest from another potential contractor which places the entire program on hold. More information will be released in HHT as it is made available by CMS. Initially, Connolly was supposed to work on RACs for initial RAPs submitted. Connolly’s focus for the time being is to ensure patients meet the necessary eligibility requirements for home health services.
