On January 1, 2017, OASIS-C2 will be released. The newest iteration of the OASIS will be complying with the 2014 IMPACT Act. The changes will include more standardized data collection on home health patients. In additional to three standardized data elements, modifications are being made to medication items. An increased timeline and look back has been added for 5 data elements.
New Standardized Data Items:
- M1028: Active Diagnoses (Peripheral Vascular Disease, Peripheral Arterial Disease, Diabetes Mellitus)
- M1060: Height (inches) and Weight (pounds)
- GG1070c: Mobility
