All hospices are required to file their self-determined cap each year, between December 31 and February 28. The 2021 Self-Determined Caps are due no later than February 28, 2022. If the self-determined cap is not received within 7 days of the above due date, a Past Due letter will be issued, and payments will be suspended.
Hospices are responsible for obtaining their own Provider Statistical and Reimbursement (PS&R) summary from CMS’ website. If you are having difficulty obtaining your PS&R, your MAC may be able to assist you.
